Medications
The careful
selection of a weight loss diet is what causes a person to lose
weight. The purpose of the medication is to help a person stay
on a weight loss diet without problems or side effects. Therefore,
Dr. Beale gives patients appetite suppressants (diet pills), diuretics
(fluid pills), nutritional supplements (vitamins and minerals),
and other medications to help them stay on the diet or to correct
other medical conditions which may coexist such as diabetes and
hypertension. The patient can be certain that whatever medical
condition they have in addition to being overweight, Dr. Beale
knows which medications are safe and effective for them. Remember
that Dr. Beale was the only weight loss physician or clinic in
the area who NEVER gave anyone Phen-Fen, Redux, Pondamin, fenfluramine,
or dexfenfluramine. Dr. Beale did his own review of the evidence
and found out that these drugs were dangerous alone and even more
dangerous in combination with other drugs. Despite the fact that
most other physicians, most other clinics, and all the talk shows
were pushing Phen-Fen, Dr. Beale spoke the truth, refused to bow
to the interest of making more money, and did not give these dangerous
drugs or combinations to his patients. Patients who came to Dr.
Beale for weight loss and listened to him are very grateful today
that they do not have to worry about heart disease or lung disease
from Phen-Fen and those other drugs.
At this time
there are other drugs and especially herbal products which are
just as dangerous as Phen-Fen, but since they are being sold by
multi-level marketing programs, they have escaped the attention
of the regulatory bodies. Dr. Beale can tell you what those products
are. Dr. Beale does not use any herbs for weight reduction because
they are either dangerous or do not work or both. If you are on
any herbal productions for weight reduction, you should stop them
immediately. If you are on herbal preparations for such things
as depression, memory loss, hair growth, nail growth, immune system
strengthening, prevention of colds, etc, you may be kept on those
by Dr. Beale.
All patients
on Dr. Beale's programs get medication of some type including
injections. The specific names and doses of medications are explained
to each patient before they are given to that patient. A general
discussion of the names and types of medications is beyond the
scope of this web site.

Sadly my father was killed in an
automobile accident on November 13, 2004. He was a weight loss
pioneer for over 30 years and I am proud that we have been able
to continue his legacy of caring. This site was designed by my
father and so I have left it as when he was alive. To hear
his voice about our program, please call our recorded message
202-889-4489. For a little more insight into the man that
Dr. Beale was, you may read

Please feel free to call me directly at the office if you have
any questions or concerns.
